A high profile destination for pristine beach & Pacific Ocean lovers, the AVP pro volleyball circuit and avid surfers from across the globe to attend the International Surf Festival. Manhattan Beach is also conveniently located a quick 15min from LAX and 30-45min from downtown LA, Beverly Hills, Hollywood and many other big name cities of Los Angeles.

Also one of the most affluent communities in Los Angeles county. With single family home prices averaging over 4.9 million dollars in the Sand Section. An old home that is to be torn down sold for 21 million on The Strand in 2017. Real Estate values are expected to continue a steady climb due to unbalanced high demand from all over the world and the small Sand Section of town only contains ~5,600 total housing units. As an example a South of pier home on The Strand sold for 1.3 million in 1991. That home was rebuilt & remodeled and sold in 2021 for 19.2 million. Nearly a 1,400% gain. Real estate has become extremely desirable in this area well North of Pier Ave

Expect many more newer & nicer homes but also some higher prices. Average home prices for the past year have been over 3.7 million.

South End

the last pocket area of psuedo affordable for classic beach living.

With an average home price still well above 2.1 million this is still an affluent area but is considered much more affordable when compared to Hermosa's North End and much more than Manhattan Beach.
